Hand-Built Pottery Open Studio
Come and create lasting sculptures in clay. Enjoy the use of the studio space & equipment, such as a slab roller, texture tools, glaze, & kiln. Get advice from a knowledgeable instructor. Create the scheduled project or construct from your own imagination! New projects will be posted shortly, please check our website for more information.

**All classes require a glaze day. Clay is $12 for a 25lbs. bag; bags can be split, and are available at the studio.

Sew Divine Beginning Sewing
Pay as you go workshops! Beginning sewing workshops for adults (and mother daughter ages 8 and up).
These workshops are for absolute beginners and avid sewers alike! We assume you know NOTHING about sewing. Or, if you have not sewn since that Home Ec course years ago, you may need this refresher. You’ll learn sewing machine threading, operation, troubleshooting and the most often-used presser feet. We’ll go over to sew a straight seam and turn corners, backstitch, and finish and press seams. Each workshop, I will take you through the project step by step. Two sewing machines are available for use, if you have your own you are more than welcome to bring it. *Feel free to bring your favorite snack & beverage. BYOF (bring your own fabric) ** New projects will be posted shortly, please check our website for more information.

Poly Clay Canes
Ages 14 & up!
Poly clay is a safe nontoxic clay that can be baked to a solid. Once baked it can be tooled, painted and glossed. Canes are colorful and fun to make! Use them for beads, buttons, jewelry and decorative composites on a wide verity of objects, such as light switch covers, door knobs & picture frames. The possibilities are endless!

Art Frenzy Winter Classes
CHILDREN
Muddy Buddies – Pottery – Ages 5 & up
Muddy Buddies is a hand-building pottery class designed to teach the basics of clay manipulation, and 3 dimensional forms. Throughout the classes, students will incorporate different hand-building techniques into lasting works of art. In this class we’ll explore texture and pattern through interesting and unconventional means. We’ll make fun keepsake sculptures you and your kids will be proud to display! This is a progressive class, meaning that your child can take the class as many times as they please and build upon what they have learned!

Drawing: Cartooning– Ages 6+
A Class Designed for budding artists who wish to improve their skills! Images will come alive as we explore anime, and various cartooning techniques! Learn how to develop your own cartoon character through various exercises and let your imagination run wild as you create works of art! This is a progressive class, meaning that your child can take the class as many times as they please and build upon what they have learned!

Young At Art – Multi Media Fun! Ages: 3-6 and Ages: 6-12
IMPRESSIONISTS AND POST-IMPRESSIONISTS: Paint, draw, carve, and create like the impressionists, such as Van Gough and Monet! Explore the art of famous impressionists as you learn about history and concepts of art. Students will paint, draw, collage, carve, mosaic, and sketch using a variety of tools and materials that allow them to express themselves freely and creatively. The best part: it's imaginative, creative, and fun! This is a progressive class, meaning that your child can take the class as many times as they please and build upon what they have learned!
For Ages 3-6: Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00pm
For ages 6-12: Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 4:15-5:15pm

Art FUNdamentals– Mixed Media Ages: 5+
Come experience the wonderful world of art! In this multi-age class we will learn the basics of color theory, line, drawing, and shading in fun and creative ways! With these basics children will build a firm foundation on which to expand and grow their inner artist. In addition, we will introduce your kids to watercolor and sculpting in clay to put into practice their new found skills. This is a progressive class, meaning that your child can take the class as many times as they please and build upon what they have learned!

All Sewn Up! Ages: 8+
Come learn how to sew! In this class you will learn how to hand sew and sew on a machine! Little to no experience is absolutely fine. We will start from scratch! Learn to create sock friends, pillows, tote bags, & more! I’ll have two sewing machines on hand, but if you’d like to learn on your own, feel free to bring it.

Messy Munchkins– Mixed Media Ages: 2-5
Let’s create mini masterpieces that you and your child will cherish for years to come! Watch your child learn and make creative discoveries, as we explore color, texture, and pattern! Please wear or bring play clothes, we may get a little messy.
